How to Apply Your Own Window Decal Without Bubbles

Avoid the frustration of bubbled decals. Use this 3‑step guide to install your window decal cleanly and like a pro.
1. Prep Makes Perfect
Clean your window thoroughly using a solution of water and mild detergent. Ensure there is no dust, wax, or residue. A seamless surface is key to preventing air pockets.
2. Peel, Align & Tack
Carefully peel the backing from the decal and position it on the window. Use masking tape at the top corners as a hinge, so you can flip the decal up, remove its backing, and then lay it down from the top down.
3. Squeegee Smoothly
Use a plastic squeegee or credit card to firmly press from the center outward. Work slowly to push air out, and peel away the transfer layer at a sharp angle when done. Apply more pressure if needed to ensure full adhesion without wrinkles.
